All That Was Hidden is Now Being Revealed

We're at the point where every major news story needs to be tested for any perceptible ritual meaning. The walls of separation between ritual and reality are crumbling, as are those between Synchronicity and sorcery.

Although most people don't really believe in magic-- even many of those who call themselves magicians-- the fact is that magic (particularly ritual magic) actually works. Which is why ritual magic continues to be practiced and why it's so common among the upper echelons of the Archonic control system.

The rituals of government and royalty are all based in ritual magic somewhere down the line, whether or not they're still recognized as such. And we've seen-- and are seeing-- magical processes recast in secular terms such as "propaganda", "industrial psychology" and "advertising."

"Fallen Angel," indeed.

And so we see what seems to be the most earth-shattering event of our times plastered all over the headlines; a Victoria's Secret model stumbling momentarily on the runway at an event in China.

Will the world ever recover from this trauma? Think of the children, for God's sake!

I haven't seen anyone trying to sneak a reference to Vega in any of these stories yet, but I suppose they really didn't need to.

The outfit here is especially fascinating. I mean, who exactly do they expect to actually wear this getup?

The answer, of course, is nobody. This outfit is entirely symbolic. Do note her chest piece here- it appears to incorporate the Phoenix and the All-Seeing Eye. And of course, we also see the garlands of white roses as well.

Ming means "shining," giving us another angelic reference.

As well as a reference to the passage in Isaiah often identified with the fallen angel Lucifer and translated as "shining star" more recently.

Bonus factoid: the passage is in Isaiah 14 and there are 14 discs sewn into Ming's bootstraps.

And Ming is also the name of a popular variety of pearls. So we have a pearl dropping as well as a fallen angel encoded into this complete and utter non-story.

Well, a nonstory on the face of it. It's probably a bit more momentous in the context of the Never-Ending Ritual.

And there it is again. I keep meaning to get to this song and it keeps getting bumped. But take note of the pearl motif because I believe it's going to pop up more and more in the days to come, just as it did with Trump's visit to Japan.

Also make note that the cover to the "Pearly Dewdrops Drops" single has a woman staring into a crystal ball.

And do remember this as well, featuring our nonbinary Belle. Bonus factoid: Beauty and the Beast was released on the Osirian date of 3/17. Still have to get to that one, too.

Got kind of a Peacock Angel vibe out of this outfit, worn at the show by Alessandra Ambrosio, who has the most fascinating name-- a gender-swapped variant of the great apostle of the Hidden God (and patron of would-be world emperors) and the "Food of the Gods," often linked to amanita muscaria by ethnobiologists.

Ambrosia also raises all kinds of Transgenic possibilities, perhaps some kind of serum that could transform a mortal into a god. I'll get back to you on that one.

Speaking of Transgenics, Ambrosio has a very odd look, almost coming across as some kind of hybrid. And that's just her photos, which never give you the full impact of the sheer oddness of these women.

I used to see fashion models in New York all the time- they really do look like aliens in person. Very unsettling.

Also kind of weird was that the story of the Fallen Angel here was accompanied by an ad for Abbott Laboratories, that is just jam-packed with star magic, Siren and Abyss symbolism.

Here's a weird image that strongly evokes some ancient pagan ritual you probably wouldn't want to be the featured attraction of. Interesting that Melania here is wearing a white and gold tunic, more than a little reminiscent of a Greco-Roman priestess.

By my count, there are 18 planters in this corridor.

And the other great story of our times is the firing of Matt Lauer from The Today Show. Surely this is a day that will live in infamy. I can certainly see why AOL made this their top story today.

Oh, the humanity!

One of the stories on the firing had this shot of Lauer and a scarlet-clad Katy Perry-- who looks like she just got a fresh brain-rinsing down at Fort Meade-- in Rockefeller Plaza in 2009.

Note also the dice motif here, a reference to Perry's single, "Waking Up in Las Vegas."

A Spanish reader pointed me towards "Danielle", a featurette promoting Espana's Christmas Lottery.

The story, kind of a spin on 1984's Starman, features an Angel of Light who falls from the Heavens (part of a collective Heavenly Host) and takes the form of a human woman it sees on a billboard. The Angel of Light then meets a young man named Daniel while in line for the lottery.

Not understanding human language, the fallen angel identifies herself with him, hence the title of the film. Come to think of it, there's quite a bit of Splash! here too.

The Book of Daniel is where we first meet the Watchers, the fallen angels who interact with humanity before being plunged into the Abyss. Note the Aramaic form of Watcher is Qaddiyish.

Qadesh is also the name of a goddess adopted into the Egyptian pantheon, who was always depicted in the nude and usually on the back of a lion.*

A motif we saw Katy Perry pay tribute to in the Super Bowl 49 Halftime Show, which kicked off with an alien-themed Pepsi commercial.

Our fallen angel in 'Danielle" is played by ---wait for it-- Charlotte Vega.

I mean, did you really expect anything but Vega at this point in the timeline?

I'll be returning to this fascinating film in the near future so please stay tuned.

We also saw NASA and SpaceX team up for a news conference on the upcoming mission to the International Space Station aka ISiS. Apparently, we need to be reminded that they'll be using a Dragon cargo ship and a Falcon9 booster for this entirely-ritualistic little outing.

Note that Isis was traditionally identified with Virgo and that Hydra is the Dragon. For ritual purposes, Corvus the Raven can stand in for the Falcon. This little corner of the sky seems to be of the utmost symbolic importance to this whole narrative,  for reasons I'm still struggling to figure out.

Do note that Ming not only symbolizes pearls it's also closely associated with a celebrated kind of vase, giving us a nice little reference to Crater for our troubles.

This is just too funny- Amazon's new VR program is called "Sumerian." Because who doesn't immediately think of an ancient Bronze Age culture when you speak the words "virtual reality?"

Keeping in that vein we have this story about this newly discovered geoglyph of a killer whale in Peru. Are you starting to sense a subtle theme developing here?

In case you didn't, Live Science informs you this glyph is older than the Nazca Lines, which are situated nearby.

The timing here is a bit curious as well, seeing as we just saw the full moon- or Beaver Moon- in the tail of Cetus, formerly a sea-monster and now a whale. Especially since the geoglyph was actually discovered back in January 2015.

Bonus factoid: the next full moon will be a Supermoon, the only one this year. Mark your calendars.

Getting back to this Osiris story, I should remind people that the first big unveiling of what was alleged to be Osiris' tomb also took place during a full moon, back in 1999.

Now we see this symbolism again, which longtime readers might remember seeing back in 2010. I can't imagine this is actually a news story-- these discoveries seem to have been made a while ago-- but serving some kind of ritual purpose.

Like this not-news, informing us of a highly-ritualistic discovery they've already made a documentary film about. You really see this a lot on science sites that dip their toes in ritual waters- they're telling us about discoveries that can date back years.

This particular story seems very Osiris-centric, as you can see from the headline photo. The language here is rather loaded- Osiris being the god of the Underworld, the Dead, transition and resurrection.

"Transitions." "Resurrections. "

Huh.

The very fact that we see that rather striking and powerful image of Osiris feeling the deep makes me wonder if this is some kind of reference to the Angel of the Abyss, famously cited in Revelation 9:11.

There's also this passage about the Angel who seizes the ancient serpent and casts him into the Abyss, or perhaps back into the Abyss, however you choose to interpret it.

In the Astrological context of Revelation-- meaning we are seeing a certain time period being prophesied-- Revelation 20:1-3 seems to be a reference to Ophiuchus, which we have entered now.

Ophiuchus being depicted as a giant seizing the serpent, in this case the constellation of Serpens. Stay alert.

We also saw this not-news story-- of the dating of the Tomb at the Holy Sepulchre to a highly Osirian 17 centuries ago.

This follows on the alleged discovery of the Tomb of Osiris, which made the news on January 7th (1/7) of 2015 (2+15=17).

Note also that discovery took place in Luxor, which may ring a bell or two for some of you out there.

And remember that the other Tomb of Osiris (he was dismembered, after all) in Giza was found to be flooded, giving us that all-important Abyss symbolism.

Come feel the Deep, indeed.

And to get in on the nutty pagan revanchism fun, the United Arab Emirates is currently displaying a statue of Athena/Minerva, a 3D-printed replica of a piece that was destroyed at Palmyra, at the United Nations.

Something is headed our way. I can't quite figure out exactly what yet, but I do sense we're not seeing all this high magic thrown at us to whittle away the time. Something is being communicated here, and I believe it's incumbent on us to figure it out.

I have a funny feeling it's not something we want to be surprised by.

* Qadesh was also a term ascribed to the transgendered temple prostitutes of the various Semitic religions of antiquity, a practice dating back to Sumer and Akkad. Given how many different names these priestess-prostitutes were given, I'm beginning to suspect they were the rule and not the exception in the various religions spreading across the Near East from the Fertile Crescent.

  1. Dude--customary hang on your words, but the "Starman" reference a jarring error to a big John Carpenter fan like me ("Escape from New York"--best low budget action flick ever). I've no doubt you're talking about a real movie, but I don't think it's called "Starman."

    4. Probably because Starman is so unlike every other Carpenter film that it gets mistaken for being someone else's. Nevertheless it is one his classics as well.

  2. The future is scary. I've got a funny feeling too. It's like we're out of place. The rules and systems, and the tendencies we've developed are clashing with what we're marching towards. No one voted for this, but it's happening, and it's making me really nervous.

    2. I've thought about this a lot and I have my mind currently angling towards two possible answers to the "what the hell is going on" quandary (and "who" would have voted for this)

My first conclusion, and this is loosely based on the insights of the book Lucifer Principle by Howard Bloom, is the God IS technology concept (as well as part of consciousness) and try as we might, the meme vs gene ongoing battle is ever constantly pushing humanity blindly into a "post human" future. My guess is that this sort of "inevitability" will become the dogmas of the transhuman/AI based religions that we are starting to see and I would bet that it would evolve around an idea that the Earth/Universe itself is manifesting as God through us to bring us into a singularity. The literal elements of the Earth gaining consciousness through the biological life it spawned who eventually mined and forged the circuits that will bring this about.

My other end game is the various "breakaway society" scenarios which works in conjunction to the first hypothesis. When the handful of those with the ownership, knowledge and the planning for the technology that enables them to essentially have the Earth to themselves, they would very likely make the move to reduce the population the bare minimum. Once the automation is there, why have continents full of polluters, why try and solve how to employ and feed billions of "the useless." If you're so sociopathic and egotistical you probably would have no problem living on Earth like a God, enjoying it's beauty with you're Royal court of Automatons by yourself and maybe a few other families.

Just like how no regular citizen would vote to have world wars that conveniently help push technology forward and reduce populations, us regular folk would also never vote for our straight up culling.

      Delete
    3. All very well argued, MM. I can't pretend to know the answer to it all. I don't know if anyone can. The only thing I can say for now is this technology doesn't always go the way it's supposed to and things can happen that derail the best laid plans.

      Delete
    4. Well, if we're talking about the inevitability of a technological/human union, then the finale of the last season of Doctor Who revealed that the Cybermen - a nightmare of transhumanism - are a recurring evolutionary step across a bunch of different planets. It's not a good thing...

The episode ends with a character who's been converted into a Cyberman being saved by being transformed into a different form of existence.

The name of the actress playing this character? Pearl.

    5. Perhaps those of us who experience the Mandela Effect are a 'new break away society'.As we still have our original memories intact.

  3. Chris,

    http://earthsky.org/space/c2017-k2-panstarrs-farthest-inbound-active-comet

I posted this before in another one of your posts over the last couple weeks, but I really think this deserves more attention. This isn't the interstellar "asteriod" from Vega, but a "comet", approaching from Drago. Due to be closest to the sun 12/19/2022. Technically interstellar itself since it's established it at least came from the Oort Cloud. Discovered in the year of our Lord, 2017. Oh yeah, it's a PANSTARRS special too!

Comparing its "orbit" to Oumuamua's approach to the solar system is informative. And what does Oumuamua mean again? Seems appropriate too that this a smaller object followed by a larger one.

    1. All very possible. Maybe caused by that Phaethon close shave.

      Delete
    2. Possibly linking to the flood motif and Phaethon is Clement of Alexandria's "Stromata" in which he wrote:

      http://www.earlychristianwritings.com/text/clement-stromata-book1.html

"And in the time of Crotopus occurred the burning of Phaethon, and the deluge s of Deucalion"..."From the birth of Moses to the exodus of the Jews from Egypt, eighty years j and the period down to his death, other forty years. The exodus took place in the time of Inachus, before the wandering of Sothis, Moses having gone forth from Egypt three hundred and forty-five years before. From the rule of Moses, and from Inachus to the flood of Deucalion, I mean the second inundation, and to the conflagration of Phaethon, which events happened in the time of Crotopus, forty generations are enumerated (three generations being reckoned for a century)."

Another possible sync with the Phaethon imagery and virgo of revelation 12 is from Ovid's Metamorphoses and the monsters/constellations Phaethon encounters in his descent. Also the crown of 12 stars could reflect Phaethon's journey through the zodiac as he loses control. It also reminded me of the Gobekli Tepe Pillar with Scropio waiting at the bottom, in the same way it awaits Ovid's Phaethon: http://www.andrewcollins.com/pics/Vulture%20Stone.jpg
Furthermore, in Timaeus, the priest had told Solon about how the Phaethon event may not have literally happened but really signified a kind of change in the cosmos (reminds me of the star rituals being carried out and the mocking of 23 sept when really something did happen) :"Now this has the form of a myth, but really signifies a declination of the bodies moving in the heavens around the earth, and a great conflagration of things upon the earth, which recurs after long intervals."
This site also got me thinking (http://www.skyscript.co.uk/babylonian_gemini.pdf) of how the Phaethon asteroid is said to be the parent body of the Geminids, supposedly from Gemini who are the Great Companions, the aspects of Nergal presaging plague (!) and the underworld/travelling back and forth between the realms of the dead. Although the pdf talks about the summer solstice period, some of the constellations also correspond to the picture of Phaethon's descent.
I came across this impressive painting as well, depicting the event: https://uploads2.wikiart.org/images/gustave-moreau/phaethon.jpg to me it paints the same kind of revelation vibe...

  7. Just yesterday there was a news item about "the tomb of Jesus Christ" in Jerusalem being restored by archeologists. There is a novel titled The Ophiuchi Hotline by John Varley from 1977 that involves alien contact of various kinds, one alien faction ignores humans and contacts... Whales, of course. Pretty sure this novel is where Star Trek took the alien/whale contact from. Gotta love Hollywood.

  8. I have been thinking a lot lately about the story of Jacob and Esau, and the story of Arjuana's battle with the Kauravas who stole his kingship, which had been granted to him by a Mandate in Heaven. Both stories are about theft, the theft of a birthright. In the jewish story the theft is presented as a good and reasonable thing to do, and even modern evangelicals agree that the seed of of Jacob was necessary to produce Jesus so it's all God's will in hindsight. In the Sanskrit epic, the theft of birthright is the central narrative around which the whole story plots, and Arjuana is guided to battle to retrieve what is rightfully his because it is his dharma and because the will of Krishna is fighting with him. It seems that two very different epics are boiling to a head in the same nation.

    1. Both stories may date back to Sumer- Lugal Zagesi and Sarru Kinu aka Sargon. Onetime allies before Sargon double-crossed Zagesi and stole the Empire he built. Though I have interesting evidence that might be the basis of Cain (Kinu) and Abel (abullu, or "City Gates"- a possible reference to Sargon chaining Zagesi at the gates of the City of Enlil.)

  9. Will keep this short, because my phone keeps going haywire when I try to comment...

2018 marks the 170th anniversary (17 decades) since of the "Year of Revolutions" in 1848, when Europeans revolted en masse against the despotisms they lived under. And in every case, these revolutions ended up strengthening the absolute monarchies they had opposed.

No idea if this has anything to do with the endless ritual we're seeing. But the Archons have long memories.

    3. 1848 wasn't necessarily 'bad'. It was transformative; the Bourbon Restoration fell apart, meaning there wasn't any putting the French Revolutionary genie back in the bottle. Metternich was ousted, the elements of the formation of Germany and Italy were put into place during this period. Intellectuals in Russia really started agitating for modernization. And the first mechanical printing press arrived in Japan. A lot of the national revolutions didn't pan out, but as we've seen nationalism is a two edged sword.

It has only been one year almost since trump has been president and we live in a way different reality. A purge is occurring. Well they deserve it for being assholes but the world is a totally different place now. The people who were famous, lecturing you about morality, feminism, a year ago are now gone. That whole time the democrats, celebs, pundits, journalists were speaking down to middle america they were raping or molesting, or doing some other unspeakable horror.

The president is a game show host that can trigger 60 million people with one tweet, they hyper troll, the god troll.

I read an article about how 800 illegals were deported from Chicago who were working in a factory and the factory owner was crying because he would have to hire legal americans and pay them fair wages.

    4. I was thinking about carl jung and i think i came to Epiphany. Im going to go on a TLDR tangent here.

The elected leader is a manifestation of the collective unconsciousness
Trump represents the shadow self of liberals. They will never over come him and ignite the alchemical fire whiten unless they stop being triggered and offended all the time.
Trump represents the father archetype, voted to bring back stability. Much like Reagan was after the chaotic 60's and narcissistic 70's. So to was trump after the chaotic 2000's and narcissistic 10's. 9/11, economic crashes, hyper identity politics, selfies, etc.

4chan and imageboard culture are a collective of shadows. I mean shadow in the jungian sense. 4chan is humanity without the social restraints, norms, or political correctness. The inner self. the part of you who does bad things but doesnt care. Doing it for the lulz. Trump winning is the 4chanification of society. The right has embraced the troll, embraced its shadow. And by doing so they have reached catharsis and manifested in real life as trump. The left have still not embraced their shadow, which is trump too. The part of their subconscious that says "maybe blacks do commit a lot of crimes" no matter how tolerant the liberal is. The only way the lib will reach catharsis and overcome trump is to stop falling for the bait. stop being triggerd, stop being offended at everything. Accepting this is who you are. Once the troll stops working then the only thing to focus on is reality and not insignificant slights like a tweet, or someone being mean on the internet.

For the liberal to progress as an entity it must overcome its cultural stagnation that occurred in the obama years. It must accept its shadow self, it must move past the "im offended and triggered at everything" rainbow haired college kid obsessed with identity. And transform into the laid back socialist troll it needs to be who doenst give a shit if a white guy wears a sombrero but will toss a Molotov threw a bankers window

the wall doesnt matter, the economy matters. if trump keeps the economy booming this is good. trump won because he promised to maga to people who have had their jobs outsourced. the number one thing to them is economic prosperity.

the democrats have nothing to run on besides "trump bad", and "rrrrrrrrrreeeeeeee russsia"
People are more interested in how the politician will improve their material conditions, not their ambitions or experience, or how so and so said a bad thing.
Democrats need to cast off hyper identity politics, coastal elitism, need to be blue collar, middle american, and have economic policies that benefit the lower class and not yuppies or wall street. Especially after the betrayal of bailing out the banks with tax payer money. Need to get out of the yale sociology department and into the union halls.

None of this will occur because democrats still want that sweet sweet donor money.

So the democrat will most likley die a spirtual death
Obama represented only physical change. He wasnt that different from the last few presidents. didnt change much or give anyone hope. Black people still getting shot, white people dying of heroin addiction and having their jobs outsourced. In fact turned out to just be another centrist asshole.

Trump represents spiritual change of americas character. Personality wise he is very different from the last few president. Not some status qou manager type. Maybe thats why things feel weird.

Maybe thats why society is moving fast, changing fast.

    5. Very interesting. Especially here in the UK, with the Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn taking the party back to the left, and away from centrism. Corbyn combines the father archetype with a left wing worldview, which is an interesting combination, that appeals to young voters.
At the same time, its obvious that he needs to 'sire' a new generation. Right wingers are also aware of this, and are searching the internet histories of Corbyn friendly young MPs, looking for infractions of identity politics. This search is using professional private detectives, and also seems archetypal - the hunt to stop the chosen one being born.

I must say, the amount of "fun" built around violence was staggering. Disney is well-known for death of parents and/or siblings as a plot device. Add onto that the Star Wars presence at Hollywood Studios - friendly fascism! You see a lot more of the Stormtroopers than anything else, and plenty of kids emulating them. The Harry Potter experience at Universal, by contrast, is all abut positive, constructive magics, though the threat of evil invasion is everywhere. Is anyone doing a study on this?

The Scottish artist behind St Andrew's Google Doodle
Internet searchers across the country have been delighted by a Scottish-themed Google Doodle to mark St Andrew's Day.
The graphic featuring a unicorn, the saltire, bluebells, thistles and a Loch Ness monster was drawn by Johanna Basford.
"To mark St Andrews day, Google asked me to create a very special Google Doodle that celebrates all things Scottish, so I picked up my pens and pencils and created this for them."
She even shared her daughter's delight at the use of her favourite creature, the unicorn.
The official description from Google for the image is: "A procession of beloved Scottish symbols, each with a special link to the country's rich heritage and mythology
"Wreathed in the prickly-leaved purple thistle, the unicorn (Scotland's national animal) leads the parade, symbolizing innocence, purity, power, and joy.
"The highlands and the lochs form the perfect backdrop to the country's favourite mythical monster — Nessie, otherwise known as the Loch Ness monster.
"Trailing her is a majestic red deer, Scotland's largest native land mammal, exploring the country's much-celebrated bluebell woods."

Captain Scotland: Superhero makes comeback on St Andrew's Day
Scotland's first superhero is to make his comeback 30 years after disappearing from the pages of a small comic book. Captain Scotland appeared in the first issue of the comic strip Atomic in 1987. Now the superhero is being brought back just in time for St Andrew's Day.The new short story by Tom J Fraser will follow a young man who has lost almost three decade of his life.

Tom explains: "Captain Scotland was our first national Scottish hero, created in the mid-1980s. "The story is a fabulous jumping on point for everyone, as all you thought you knew about the character is completely wrong.

  25. So, last night I wrapped up reading John Alexander's (yes, THAT John Alexander) new book "Reality Denied." One section interested me in particular (and there is A LOT of info here) was his coverage of Stephen Schwartz's "psychic archaeology" (working with Ingo Swann, Hella Hamid and others) and his team used this psychic ability, underwater, to find the fabled Pharos lighthouse of Alexandria, Egypt, part of Mark Antony and Cleopatra's now submerged home. Their psychic search was successful in 1979. But their techniques were dismissed by Egyptologists and scientists at the time, and later, in 2013, a new dive team "found" the site, amidst great fanfare and Schwartz's psychic discovery was never mentioned or credited. His book is well-worth checking out.

  27. All the "space ritual" motifs remind me of the Sabians of Harran & their astrology-centric religion, itself an outgrowth of Sumerian/Akkadian beliefs, with influences from Egypt, Persia & Babylon:

    http://unchartedruins.blogspot.com/2012/07/harran-of-sabians.html

"The name of Harran originally came from ancient Akkadian Harrānu, meaning “crossroad”
According to tradition, Harran was first founded by Nimrod, the legendary hero who was credited by Biblical scholars for building the tower of Babel. It was already a flourishing center by the 2nd millennium BC, famous throughout Mesopotamia and the Eastern world for its fabulous temple to the Moon-God Sin. King Nabonidos of Babylon, who was probably himself a native of Harran, turned the city into one of the major centers of his neo-Babylonian empire by the VII century BC, considerably enriching the great temple of Sin."

"The city was clearly established according to a Hermetic ground plan, closely resembling the ideal Hermetic city of Adocentyn whose description is contained in Picatrix. It too had seven gates dedicated to each of the planetary deities (Sun, Moon – considered equal to the planets – Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn) according to the principles of talismanic magic. It was circular in shape and had a large temple in its center surmounted by a high tower.
Not surprisingly, even after the rise of Islam and Arabic conquest, Harran became one of the major centers of Eastern and Western hermeticism. An important university was established in Harran as early as the 7th Century, where hermetic scholars were responsible for the re-collection and composition of the large, though widespread Corpus Hermeticum and of various hermetic treatises – most notably the Picatrix – dealing with talismanic and ceremonial magic."

"The name Sabians is likely a derivation from the Coptic Saba’ia, meaning “people of the Stars”, likely a reminiscence of a very ancient star cult which had its roots in the ancient Egyptian religion, the cult of the Magi of ancient Persia and the western Hermetic tradition. The linkage between the Sabians of Harran and Egypt was made even stronger by their annual pilgrimage to the pyramids of Giza, quoted by several Arabic writers, which the Sabians believed were the tombs of Hermes Trismegistus and Agathodaimon built before the Flood.
A famous phrase, written over the main entrance door to the largest temple of Harran could still be read by Arabic historian Mas’udi in 943 AD: “Know yourself, and you will become God”... "

I wonder if what we're seeing now isn't some modern iteration of this?

"Runnin'" is a mix of electronic dance with roots in Detroit techno and the Chicago house music scene, infused with '70s funk and soul. Much of Watt's vocals were improvised, showcasing his looping skills and wide range for unique vocal noises and non-words, paying homage to influences like Cocteau Twins singer Elizabeth Fraser.

"She was really the first one that when I heard the music, I was like, 'What language is this in?'” Watts tells Billboard. "She has this weird mixture that oscillates between sounds. I think there's something more interesting about hearing something that sounds kind of close to something else, but you're not sure what it is, until you start to develop your own meaning.”

It's like the shadowy elites said, "Fuck all this allusion and implication shit. That's so 2016. Let's just inject the shit directly into their eyeballs!" And dead-eyed nods of approval were given by all the other psychos in three-pieces. I'm expecting a new transnational organisation to be unveiled soon called "We are straight fuckin' evil, yo." At first we'll be a bit hesitant. But they'll have Apps. And dead-eyed nods of approval will be felt around the world. Yeah, thats the pain of laughing and crying at the same time. It never had a lid, never had anything in it, but the discoverers couldn't conceive otherwise and thus chiselled out a corner, located where the imagined lid must be, and then chiselled off the lid that wasn't (destroying it in the process).

It was a non-returning float, and its resting place is its message (the entire building is a message to a future civilisation - ours): "Water gets this high".

But, like kids playing in a refrigerator, rather than painfully confronting their ignorance or deception, visitors lie inside the float to reassure their indoctrination that it is a coffin in a vain pharoah's tomb.

  35. If the seeds of this madness were planted in the 70s they started sprouting good in the 80s. The early 80s were a period when a lot of weirdness happened, beginning with Thatcher/Reagan and ramping up from there to MTV, Falkvinas and all sort of telematic hijinks, including the Challenger explosion and Iran/Contra. A lot of key elements remain buried in that hated decade.

Saturn just conjuncted with the Galactic Center this week which is pretty interesting. Happened 29 years ago so it's a good thing to refer to that time in the world.

Whatever is going on now feels like a relief to me. Sorry but I am simply relieved that I don't have to pretend around people that things aren't fucked. For so long that has been true.

We need the shake-up. Anyone doubt that? Seriously when were the good times? Please anyone tell me a time since you've been alive - even go back to your parent's generation for the exercise - when we weren't lied to, manipulated, poisoned in our bodies and mind?

Consider the idea that perhaps we escaped from something with 2012 and have moved into a world (or dimension) that has been here all along but unaccessible to us. It's familiar but it doesn't work with the same rules. The communication is right there but it seems as if we don't quite know all the nuances of the language being spoken to us. I find it fascinating.

  37. My friends and I used Those early Cocteau twins records in what I know now was a very ritualistic fashion. We would smoke hash and lay in the dark in reverie with Treasure or whatever. Those songs are like places to me or a mansion with many rooms that I spent several eternities in . . . decades ago now. Although the cocteau twins are often lumped in with "Goth" or were at that time in the early mid 80s they also were popular amongst us indy types and along with Jesus and Mary Chain were seminal in what became known as C86 movement, bands like The Vaselines and the Pastels. The aesthetic of this movement was a kind of stylised recapitulation of childhood. Hence "Psychocandy" for example or wearing anoraks and reading Beatrice Potter. An affectation of innocence as rebellion So titles like Spangle Maker or Pearly Dewdrops Drops can also been seen in this light, elegiac for a lost childhood, evocations of the names of candy very familiar to anyone who grew up in the UK in the 1970s . Certainly this was how I read them at the time.
